This actually worked and I can see that my background verification is completed and language skills+physical presence+prohibitions are in progress.

I have to dig through my emails for the AOR as I was applying for my Parents visa recently so I might have missed it.

Hahaha based on my friends and their timeline estimate the average has been around 8 months and its been around 6 months for me now. Besides lots of bills to pay + inflation is not making it easier.

I got a request for biometrics on Jan 7 and I got it done on Jan 8.
Till now the fingerprints have not been updated.
Should I wait or contact IRCC.

Hi, Today we received an update via email:
You are invited to further the processing of your citizenship application by attending a citizenship event IN PERSON.
The date, time, location, and details of your appointment are attached to this email. (FEB 21, Scarborough Citizenship & Immigration Canada)
The attached pdf:
INVITATION TO COMPLETE A CITIZENSHIP KNOWLEDGE TEST AND/OR FOR VERIFICATION OF IDENTITY/DOCUMENTS.
Status Tracker:
Scheduled for the Citizenship test.
Also on the pdf, it says:
"After you take your test, you will also be interviewed by a citizenship officer or agent to verify your identity and the documents you provided at the time you applied for citizenship".
What's expected in the interview? Also, We have used the IELTS that we submitted with the PR application, hence are not in possession of the original. They are asking to bring the original documents submitted with the documents checklist. Does it mean reprinting the application form and physical presence form as well? Any help would be appreciated.

Applied: August 31, 2022
AOR: September 1, 2022
So far, only background verification is completed (Dec 2022)
no test invite yet

we are in the same boat.
Applied: 7 august 2022
AOR : 18 august 2022
Background verification completed : 14 december 2022.
No update since.

My BG was marked as completed on Jan 16 (seems like FP was received Jan 15)
Took the test on Jan 16 (first day of my window), looked straight at the monitor and done in 5 minutes.

No Update since then! Test shows still in progress after 2.5 weeks!

same here. I am a September applicant, did my test on January 16, and still no updates.
