Until AOR, your application is not in their system. So I don't think calling them will change a thing. In August 2021, it took us between 2-3 months to get AOR. So believe me, now is only the start of the waiting game between each milestone of your citizenship journey.
I suggest you bookmark and check out the 2022 google sheet https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet...VcJH9nEA2u2GOhfpUZOckOWmN0/edit#gid=122463273 to have an idea of how the other 2022 applications are doing. From what I saw in the forums for the 2022 June/July/August I would say the range varies from a few days to 2 weeks. However there are outliers. Some paper applications in June took +30days before reaching AOR.

You can tag @admin when you have an update. That's who/how the 2021 google sheet was updated for me.

Check your mailbox. Your application might be returned to you.
It happend to me. My application was delivered Aug 10, 2022. When I check my mailbox for some reason, my application was sent back to me.

How many days after your application was received, was it sent back, I did not receive the AOR and wondering if they have been returned or not.
You sent your application on Aug 18th if I am not wrong. so you have to wait IRCC is working on sending AOR for the week of August 14, 2022
