My husband had his biometrics completed on Thursday and he also got his medical request… the appointment that was the quickest is March 21 2022 . Queensland and WA had appointments much quicker but their borders are still closed to Victorians. My husband has submitted an extension request for the March medical appointment on the web form on the IRCC website. My question is does this now pause his application or will it continue to move forward while we wait for the medical appointment ?

Can't say for certain but seems to proceed in parallel and only when medical clearance is needed should it be an issue. Which mostly wouldn't affect but sometimes Aus applicants go quicker than other countries (security sharing easy). So it should go forward but could become a delaying factor later.

That’s what I was hoping, our other option is to wait and see on State borders opening if they do he could then book an appointment hopefully sooner then March and book a flight. Thanks for that information

So, in an interesting development! I checked my eCAS on a whim this evening and my Sponsorship Application status changed from 'In Process' to 'Decision Made'. I know it happened at some point after 7:00 AM because I last checked around 7:06 AM and I do it out of force of habit; wasn't actually expecting any updates today (Do they work on Saturdays?).

I reckon that my SA letter (Hopefully - I don't want any nasty surprises) is likely sitting in my rep's inbox.

I got this as well and within a few hours I had the email for SA

So as a followup to my previous post, my rep forwarded two letters received from the CIC:

1. Biometrics Request for my wife (PA), dated 3 Dec 2021
2. Medical Request for my wife, dated 6 Dec 2021

Plan to get those done ASAP and keep things chugging along. Haven't gotten the SA letter from my rep though; have asked them about it and also wanted to see if they have the letter showing where my wife's application has been forwarded to - am curious to see if it's LVO (seeing as she lives in Dubai, LVO seems to be the office they send EMEA applications to most of the time) or NDVO (because she's an Indian passport holder).

I got my SA letter the day after the medical request was sent. No word on the visa office yet

Does anyone know if a chest X-ray needs to be included in the cost of the medical exam? I booked and paid for the exam and blood tests however I read on the link provided it’s not always required. Is this something I need to add to the booking ?

My application was returned for the second time. The issue this time was a missing signature on the Use of representative form IMM5476 and they said I should use version July 2021 of it.

Is this worth doing via paper? I would like to use the online but they wrote temporary application number on the generic Application form.

If I can upload the proof of payment I would rather use the online. I guess payment is confirmed via card. I don't know what to do now? Guys!
I'm sorry to hear that buddy. We also have the same situation, I am the sponsor and the representative at the same time. I realized that i forgot to sign under the Representative's declaration but i was able to sign on the last page (as a Spouse). May i know if you were able to sign on the last page as a spouse? and what version of IMM5476 did you submit?

I called IRCC twice and told them about my situation and they said my application will not be returned because IMM5476 form is not mandatory. Now i am worried that my application will also be returned.

Yeah. IRCC said it is only needed because I intend to use my Canadian address for my wife's application. So I don't know why they are too strict on it. They should have accepted and asked me to redo and resend digitally. The version I used was old now, the current one is dated July 2021.

I know my wife signed but I forgot to, I only dated it.

Anyway, we did not resend for the third time as we reapplied online. We submitted Nov 3, so something might happen early January. We are easy on it ..no pressure since it gonna be 2022.

I am not sure what the old form looks like but did you forget to sign for both signatures? I mean on Page 2 you need to sign as a representative and on the last page you need to sign as a spouse of the Principal Applicant. Did you forget both signatures or you were able to sign on one of them?

My application was received Nov. 26th. I hope that you receive your AOR soon.

Hey everyone. I got my medical request a few days ago and I've been trying to schedule a session with the only authorized panel physician in Singapore (Fullerton Drs. Horne & Chin). It's been such a pain and I still haven't managed to schedule an appointment. I'm also not feeling optimistic as the clinic has an underwhelming 2.1 star review on google (out of 25 reviews so far). Anyone here on the same boat? Does anyone know if it's possible to request for IRCC to consider any other panel physician that's not on their list?

Here's a brief history of what I've been doing in the last 3 days
Phone calls
It's been 3 days of fruitless phone calls - I would call them, explain my situation (i.e. I need to book my appointment ASAP because of the time limit set by IRCC) - the only response would be that they would get someone to call me "by today" to book an appointment. Those promised calls never came.

E-mail
No one responds to the email.

Appointment booking through website
While they allow booking through the website, earliest slot is in mid-January. Also - They have no option to book an appointment for immigration purposes, only for regular clinic services. I was thinking of booking a regular health checkup appointment with them but I have to pay upfront (˜500-700$) so safe to say that it's no longer an option!

No this is not possible. What is possible though is going to another one from the list in a different city/country.

Maybe next time you call tell them that you are not getting a call back, or ask if you can call back at a better time? Not sure how they work but I'm just throwing out ideas.

Have you tried just showing up to their office and speaking with them directly? Sometimes, if all else fails, that kinda helps to resolve the issue.
