Yes I am an indian. Yes, I have heard OCI is a different ball game altogether.:eek: I will think about that once this is done.
I heard somewhere that we have 6 months in hand for getting an OCI? But I maybe wrong.

My oath was virtual through the Winnipeg office. I applied in Montreal, my application got moved to Vancouver and then Winnipeg administered the oath. Go figure.

Gosh! That is tough! And wonder what is the explanation from them to keep the application floating:oops:
 
Do I have to sign on my kids citizenship forms and email then as well after the oath ceremony that are supposed to be sent right the ceremony is done? Or is it just for me?

November 18th, 2021 - AOR
April 4th, 2022 - Background check completed
April 15th, 2022 - Citizenship test scheduled
May 2nd, 2022 - Citizenship test completed
October 24th, 2022 - Prohibitions, Physical presence and Language skills completed
October 27th, 2022 - Citizenship oath set to In progress
November 1st, 2022 - Oath date was updated as December 1st
November 18th, 2022 - Received instructions for online oath ceremony
December 1st, 2022 - Took the oath
December 3rd, 2022 - Application marked as closed
December 7th, 2022 - Received the Citizenship Certificate
My application was processed by Scarborough office

I just got my GCMS notes that I requested on June 7th, 2022 :)

All stages are passed.

Final: granted (I'm assuming this means, I've been for approved citizenship)
Oath: started

Long wait for oath. At least, I know its just oath pending now and decision is made.

(Applied online August 15th, 2021. All stages completed on August 4th, 2022)

My wife has been waiting for oath since July 2021. AR on 24 August 2021. The test responded that she is in queue for cermony and they cannot tell when it will happen.
 
A quick question- Has anyone asked for a quick delivery of the citizenship certificate ? ( For virtual oath ceremony)
As the holidays are coming up so wanted to know if anyone had requested to deliver the citizenship certificate at the earliest. Any particular reason can be given for early delivery of the certificate? Please share your experience. Thank you!
