Finallyyyy, after over 3 months of waiting since Decision made, got an update when i checked the tracker today. Citizenship oath activity updated to "in Progress" on Sep 27th 2022. Citizenship oath ceremony scheduled for 1st Nov 2022. Now waiting for the instruction email to attend the ceremony.

Haha looks like we have very similar timelines. Got my oath for November 1 too. Congrats!

Anyone who had their oath through the Scarborough office on Sept 24th and received the citizenship certificate? How long does the office typically take to send the certificates?

Usually you can expect it within 1-2 weeks...
I had requested for expedited certificate from SCR office (cpl of days before the ceremony(by email, stating upcoming business travel) and also mentioned that during the ceremony) which I got within 3 days.

Email should be the one you received the Oath invitation form...
My office was SCR..
Below is the feedback I got from them when I wrote the email...

During the ceremony however, the clerk who reviewed our documents, acknowledge this expedite request and mentioned that as soon as the ceremony is over please send us the signed Oath form and they would ensure the dispatch the very next day(which they did, I could see on the envelope the ship date was Sep 14 through Canada Post)

I got my certificate in 1 week. I had emailed the oath undertaking (whatever it's called) the very minute we were off camera to the SCR office on Friday. By next Friday we had the certificate in our mailbox. So even though they say 2-4 weeks sometimes it can come early as well
