Please check the link I had provided for figuring out what reasons they accept. PR card expiry is not a reason for Urgent Processing. Also keep in mind you will need to provide an offer letter from the company stating they need citizenship as a criteria to be eligible. Plus tons of other proof - like you are qualified for that job you are applying in terms of Academics, Skills,, Experience, etc etc. Otherwise chances of them accepting your UP is next to negligible, but not impossible as per the forum member experiences.

There is a reason for that. It is not that you do not want to know anything about this forum anymore. In the moment you achieved something you start creating new goals and targets, and PR and Citizenship are not exceptions. So people start a new plan for achieving these, It is like getting the new Iphone, in the moment you just buy it, it becomes old, and you'd want the new unreleased one.

it is not a bad thing if somebody doesn’t come back once it is done for them,

it is a choice, and to come back and see how others are doing, is a nice choice.

I actually do not know what is happening. I completed my test in August shows completed but other components shows in progress. I requested for a gcms note since November, 2021 and even yet to get it.
Wondering what is causing the whole delay.

I got my GCMS on the 61st day lol. Omicron is the new name for endless delays. There is nothing much one can do.

Hello I wanted to update the tracker information. I applied from Ottawa, I checked online to track my application and saw that I was scheduled for the citizenship test on Dec 31st 2021. I took the test and passed it today. I know I am late to the party but can anyone tell me what are the next steps and how soon can expect to be a citizen?

Next your test will be updated to Completed, after that you may or may not be asked for Passport copies, after that your language, prohibitions and physical presence will be set to complete. Once that is complete you will be in queue for the oath.

Good afternoon, yesterday I took my Online Oath. The ceremony took like 2 hours, there were like 100 people. the office was Niagara.

If you check ECAS you'll see "Decision Made", and now you're just pending the Oath.
