Yup seen that happen. Watever gets us to the finish line! Hope they call for in-person mass ceremonies (in a convention center) and clear the backlog sooner or later.

But i am surprised with cic opting for inperson. vow... you know sometimes the updates from cic is unbelievable (either its too realistic or its abnormal)

Just a quick question. Once we send scanned copies of all passport pages to Missisauga office via email. Do we get confirmation email from them .

No confirmation. Please dont email again multiple times. This is clogging their work and changing their strategy to send by post which will affect upcoming applicants.

Hi all, I just received an email request from IRCC to send color photocopies of all my passport pages asap. Has anyone received a similar request before? I am worried and a bit upset cause I thought the email would be about the oath ceremony but then opened it and got frustrated. Does it mean my application will be delayed or there are some red flags in my case?

Nothing out of the line here. Many applicants get this request and is of late - mostly expected after the test in lieu of an actual interview. The purpose is just to cross check your immigration stamps matches your physical presence days.

Hi, Yes I have received a similar request today. I was expecting the same after citizenship test to receive Oath taking request. Does anyone know how much delay will this cause in the process? Also do you know outside of the passport colored copies + request letter, is there anything else that needs to be sent? Many Thanks!

Today I received email from Scarborough office saying I have to submit my passport copy or travel documents and they told me to mail it to them in 30 days with that letter.

Is it normal ?

do I have to submit Work permit or COPR copies?

Yes its normal. Many receive this request.
Just the passport copies of the passports held during your eligibility period.

No WP or COPR. Just all the pages of all the passports that were valid during the eligibility period.

There isn't a standard timeline. To avoid disappointment, assume it'll take at least 3 to 5 months from the date your test results were set to "Completed" to receive an oath notification.

I was wondering now with the election in progress do you think there is any impact on citizenship applications ? will it get delayed even further ? anybody has any insights on this ?

Hey Guys i had check ecas and it stated that I am schedule to do the citizenship test between august 19 to September 9 as stated in my previous notes couple days ago however I haven’t received the email as yet is that normal even though today is the 16th what do you guys think should I call them in regards to this or wait until the aug 19 to see if anything pops up if any senior member or anyone know of this situation who could guide me in regards to this
