Hi Guys, i lost my COPR paper, i have my PR card. Do we need COPR at interview or ceremony stage?

COPR is listed as one of the documents required for oath ceremony. You can tell the IRCC officials that you've lost it.

Apply for Application for a Verification of Status (VOS) or Replacement of an Immigration Document immediately because COPR is a VERY IMPORTANT document. You would need your COPR later in your life for old age security pension and other benefits. The official processing time to get a VoS is 6 months as per the IRCC website.

I love that those of us who are still waiting for any update (all "In Process" online) are all wondering if we have the slowest office. lol
We're with Ottawa and it's certainly on the "slow" list.

My partner (the applicant) has to return to the UK in a few weeks and while we're hoping he'll be able to do the test online from there, it's been really discouraging because we feel like we've been waiting here just for the test for months. Almost more painful seeing others get invites, but some movement is good, I suppose.
Sending all of you good vibes!

He can take the test from outside. He just needs to email them(to the email in the pdf invite for rescheduling) asking for permission to attend from outside. They are agreeing nowadays hence this wont be a show stopper/delay.

@royce110 Bro any update on your application? I remember yours was stuck with background verifications as well... My BG was set to complete today.
Nothing yet. Everything still ‘in progress’ in the tracker. Congrats on the BG.
Which was your local office btw?

False, Edmonton is the bar the slowest office
Not arguing but looks like Scarborough office is still processing 2019 applications. I have personally not come across a 2020 applicant from Scarborough office who got test invite, @rajkamalmohanram can perhaps pitch in, have you come across any 2020 applicant from Scarborough who got test invite?

Yes. At least one September applicant has received test invite from Scarborough. There might be more but since many people simply mention "Toronto" as their location, it is hard to determine what their office is.

I think I am in the Scarborough Office. I asked for an Access to my information earlier this year and I remember seeing Scarborough in the notes, not sure if it has moved. if that is possible.

I did my test last weekend. Now am waiting for another activity, likely 3 months away. So slow, but at least its coming on.

My local office is Vancouver. I have noticed starting yesterday most BG pending applicants started getting finger print mail or had there status updated to complete. I can see there is some movment with June /July/Aug applications.

Test set to “Completed” on July 2nd. BG was set to “Completed” on Feb 26th. Language, Physical presence and Prohibitions still “In Progress”.

  1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on August 10, 2020.
  2. We started processing your application on January 26, 2021.

Ecas is updated to in process, AOR in Jan 28, 2021

3- Received a request for finger print in July 7th, 2021. Went to https://www.canadianlegal.org/calgary-fingerprinting/ and completed that today

Thanks for the note, when did your BG checks show as complete on the tracker?
