I do have 2 questions for experts
First my application will be resent again with old forms not new one that was released last week is this will make problem or there is grace period for using old forms ?
Second is this will be treated as new application and I have to wait again or I have to start the que again ?

1. You can use the old form if your application reaches IRCC before March 1 2021. From March 1, the new form is mandatory.

2. Applications that have been returned, AFAIK, will lose the place in queue. If you send the application now, you can expect an AOR like any other Jan 2021 applicant.

@rajkamalmohanram You have always helped us with detailed explanation in this forum. Very helpful and thanks.
By any chance can you shed some light on the post application phase in this COVID times, anything brief will be highly appreciated. Read you pinned post, do you think their processing have drastically changed after last March?
Thanks again

The post-application phase looks something like this :

Submission -> AOR (~ 3 months)
AOR -> IP (~ 2 months)
--> Some might receive additional documents request here
--> Some might receive Fingerprint request here
IP -> Online Test (Unknown for 2020 applicants, will take a long time)
--> Some applicants might be asked to attend an interview here
Online Test -> DM (For some, takes a few days, others weeks)
DM -> Oath (Again, greatly varies based on location and other factors)

This is the process but the timeline between the the steps greatly varies based on so many factors. You might want to check the 2019 and 2020 tracker in my signature if you want to see how the timelines are playing out.

Thanks. I know from my PR days that you were proactive in sending additional docs beforehand. Are you planning to send these as well? Is there any email or portal where we can submit these?

No. Times have changed and less is more. I am NOT going to send anything additional unless I'm asked for it. But I have the documents ready and if I'm asked, I can respond and send them all those documents in the next 5 minutes. But I won't be sending it to them unless asked for.

These can be submitted through the webform (if one wanted to).

Thanks. As per your observation can they ask for additional documents after IP?
