So finally my Citizenship Ceremony was completed. It was pretty smooth and quick - total it took 1 hour & 5 minutes. Finally I am a Canadian :)
My experience below:

1) I joined the meeting a couple of minutes before the scheduled time. I was let into the break room exactly on time.
2) 5 minutes later my officer went through with the basic instructions. I requested for an In-Person pickup of the Certificate, but request was politely denied. But was told I should get it pretty quick since I am residing in the same area. Then went back to Break room.
3) Ceremony started within 10 minutes. Total 53 participants only.
4) Went back to the break room for more waiting.
5) Finally the officer made me cut out my PR card and confirmed my address. Call ended.
6) Immediately emailed the digitally signed Oath form as instructed.

Now wait for Certificate begins..
Update:
Application was finally closed yesterday (tracker was updated today).
I called IRCC just now to find out the status of the Certificate, and was informed that it was mailed out yesterday. Since I live few blocks from their office, hope to receive the mail by Wed/Thu. Will update once I receive the certificate.

I am not sure, but I have heard from this forum, that when then tracker status = Closed, its a fair indication that on that same day they mail it out. It certainly was true in my case.
thank you.. then i have to wait for the tracker update 1st... i should not have told them that i have no travel plans during the oath :( maybe they just put me in the bottom of the list

Hang in there, IRCC works in mysterious ways. I wouldn't be surprised that you will receive the Certificate any day now (since 3 weeks is the max I have seen on this forum, which again falls under rare cases) and even after receipt, your tracker still shows as In Progress ;)

hi all,
its almost 2 weeks now and i did not receive my citizenship certificate... now i am starting to worry.. is this pretty normal ? online it says to wait for 6 weeks before contacting them.. should i really wait that long before contacting them :(?
No need to worry. Standard time is 2-4 weeks.

Mine came after three weeks. Hold your horses,
Prepare the passport application in the meantime.

take an appointment, call them, register online. You have so much more to do.
