I have heard that People who are exempted from travel are getting priority. Is that true ? Someone from India or any other country from where flights are banned to Canada as of now, got confirmation recently??

Yo guys, I got my ircc portal today, did not track for a while but the last note from last month was security was not started and eligibility recommended pass. If I got it, yours should be out soon.
Hey @Delay and @wlaroshi . Last Friday I got a mail from IRCC asking if I'm in Canada. I replied in an hour but since then I've heard back nothing. Did you get your eCOPR after replying to IRCC?

@Raj90Raj Not ecopr but I did get portal credential shortly after. I am just gonna take a beautiful portrait photo tmrw morning and shocking IRCC clowns with my handsome face after that I will be done with the portal thing.

@Delay I was simply asked if me and my dependent are currently residing within Canada and nothing more. No portal access after that. Is the photo which you submitted will be used for PR card? Then at what stage do you receive the COPR. Sorry for my ignorance.

I also got the access to PR Portal a few minutes after I replied. eCOPR sometime (God knowns when) after you confirm your address and upload photo.

My medicals expired on June 16th, I got an update on my profile that I passed the medicals again as of today and they also requested an additional document which I submitted right away. I guess they are looking at our applications now.

I think if it wasn't for the ADR, your application you've been approved today. They approved mine on the same day they updated my medicals to passed again. You're close, mate.

I think so too. The document they requested however was something that I already sent in through webform last year but let's see. Hopefully I get some good news really soon! *Fingers crossed*

My meds expire on August 4th (next week) according to GCMS notes. Hopefully the automatic extension triggers some movement on my application.

I was hoping that too when mine expired. It could be a coincidence, but they ended up finalising my application after a week of receiving the automatic extension email. As always, good luck!

Did anyone receive a new email titled "IRCC Permanent Residence Confirmation Portal" again but with the PDF slightly different from the original? It seems they've updated the PDF letter and it trigged an automated mass email to everyone who had received the "old" version.

Thanks, fingers crossed. It is coming up to a year overall now, never thought it would take this long.
It took me 11 months. I was stuck at Security and thought I was in the pot of applicants that IRCC forgot about. But they ended up approving me on a Sunday (or at least that was when I received the emails), so just try to be patient (I know it's hard). As you said, hopefully with your medicals expiring, it catches their attention and they touch your file again.
