Minister speaks about temporary workers in Canada

It mainly focuses on the following groups:

• temporary workers in health care (20,000)
• international students who graduated from a Canadian educational institution (40,000)
• temporary workers in other selected essential occupations (30,000)

This is solely to help them meet their goal of accepting 401,000 new permanent residents this year. The above streams start May 6th will remain open until November 5, 2021 (or whenever they reach their limit)

Ultimately this is weighted towards keeping inland TFWs in the country and making it easier for them to become PRs.

Hi All.

Need one help. I got my file approved on 17th March and COPR numbers can be seen on CIC portal. However, I did not get the eCOPR. So i raised a webform on 31st March asking them on when will the eCOPR be sent. Today they closed the webform saying that the situation is now resolved (thats all they said). However, i still don't have my eCOPR. Can you please advise what needs to be done next?

Tried through Internet explorer. Same result. I can seethe COPR numbers but nothing that can be downloaded.

I guess this new program doesn't matter much to us as we've already had our applications going on, but it's still an amazing news. I just wish they process our applications faster.
