I have a query, I and my wife have given biometrics when we first arrived in CA (me on a work permit and she on a visitor visa), and our application shows the biometric information also, do we still need to give biometric?

Biometrics section shows "September 29, 2020 Completed"
Biometrics (at the bottom):
Application Information section:
Biometrics Number: xyzxyzxyzxyz (i.e: same as Work Permit Biometric details)
Date of Biometrics Enrolment: January 9, 2019
Expiry Date: January 9, 2029

Not sure why but for me , I also gave biometric on Jan 14 2019 for my wp and the details are there on my profile after the medical was passed, but I received a letter for biometrics and in the biometrics section it is written that they need my fingerprints to process my application, so I guess I will be going for biometric again

Hi All, my AOR was Aug 26th ( CEC Inland )and today I got a msg stating medicals passed. They are asking for Biometrics as well for me and my wife who is in India. I think all the VFS centres in India are closed for Canada Biometrics. Has anyone recently done biometrics in India.

Thanks for your reply. But haven't given biometrics yet as it was not a requirement when I came. So I guess both of us need to to give it anyway.

Hello All, I'm CEC inland applicant with LMIA supported job offer. Anyone of you claimed 50 points for job offer to get the ITA? May I know what documents are needed to support the job offer points other than payslips and employer reference letter?

check biometric section in your account. If it takes from previous record then you're good to go. otherwise you'll get BIL request soon.

I got my Medical approval on Sep 30th and Biometrics information was updated with the details that I submitted in Feb 2020 at the time of my WP renewal.
For biometrics, does the status need to be changed as COMPLETE under the biometrics section, currently it says:
"We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes."
