See almost all us August applicants including myself are at this status:

Eligibly - Recommended Pass
Criminality - In Progress
Security - Not Started

And they last touched our file during the Jan 5 - Jan 12 week.

So now whenever they touch our files again we can hope to go past this status and eventually get COPR. Like someone said above this will likely be by March since July 2020 applicants are getting this month so looks like there is 1 month delay.

In the meantime lets all keep us updated with their file statuses and when was the last update and hope for the best!

And ya for the August applicants who haven't yet reached the status above (Eligibility - Rec Pass, Criminality - In Progress and Security - Not started),

don't worry too much because most of the times they keep working in the background and only update in their system later this is why we see Security passing in 2 days for several applicants, where in reality security takes about 110 days to pass.

So, its just a matter of time of when they touch the file and update everything! Some people don't receive any ghost updates and get direct COPR, so its not an official thing to pass through all these stages at certain times, these are our guesses and speculation to keep us occupied in the 6-7 month wait.

For secondary VO; the agent said OSC. Any idea which VO is this??

This kind of background status change usually happens with FSW applicants, and its a positive sign if it changed from processing to when we start background check, means you are likely in NA2 stage.

Something definitely progressed on your application if the Background Check message changed. Sounds like it is moving in the right direction.

That's is good news that your criminality is passed.

Criminality was the first assessment that was started for me then after many days eligibility started, so nothing to worry about, all good!
