Congrats !!
ITA: Jul 23
AOR: AUG 23
Medical passed: OCT 13
Biometric requested: OCT 13 (didn't do it for the work permit)
In-Canada RCMP criminal record requested by CIC: OCT 13, Submitted on 2 wks later.
Then i realized i screwed something up! Start to working on additional files, calling professionals. Additional files submitted via webform in the mid of Nov.
Bio: Dec 1, received by IRCC right away.
First GCMS notes received in Jan, Eligibility Review Required.

I realized i screwed something else. Added more files in March AGAIN!

Confirmed by 1 agent that Eligibility passed in Mar, but calling later again, another agent denied, and as i quote"I've doing this for almost a decade, he doesn't know what is he talking about."

Under Background, it shows Passed at Jun 6th now. I know Security was ongoing during the Mar, but i don't think it finished on June 6th as well.

Jul 12 First Portal mail
Jul 13 Second Portal mail
Jul 15 Photo upload
Jul 16 ECoPR file.

Man, looking back now, this is almost look like a junkie's rehab dairy. As i said it before. If i could pass, y'all can! Just matter of time. All of us will beat this! I was anxious, so badly that i gained about 10kg (it's my one true talent). I know what that excruciating experience. But we'll get there!

Hang in there, my beautiful Aug folks!

Got Reply of WebForm :- AOR 25 AUGUST 2020, CEC OUTLAND

We verified the information on file and can confirm that:

· Your application is currently being processed at the Case Processing Centre in Ottawa, Ontario.

  • The responsible office is currently verifying if your application meets the eligibility requirements under the immigration program for which you have applied,
    • you may be contacted via your account if additional information is needed.
  • The security background verification has not been initiated.
  • The criminal background verification is currently valid.

Tired of this waiting time.

We don`t care about 2020 applicants or their problems. We are so much affected by COVID, that will use this excuse for everything.
Very useful answer from IRCC =))) I`ve got same answer few times =)))

I had called customer care yesterday. And she told nothing is changed on your application. Security is pending and told me some other checks are pending too. Now this is the first time I heard, that few other statuses are pending too. Otherwise before they used to tell only security is pending. See these guys telling new stories everyday to us and making us fool.

What I get to know, during covid-19 this "RC-9515" office disturbed and IRCC hired new officer or reshuffle officer, whenever they assign new officer then they will go again through the full file
So I think this could be possible

If your application gets transferred or reassigned (to a new officer) then they usually go through your whole file again. They rarely go against the decision of the previous officer (in cases where you already passed stages), but it can still be reflected in the GCMS system that a stage is "in progress" when a new officer is going over the information. if there is nothing to worry about, then it will be changed back to "Passed" soon enough.

All the IRCC offices in Canada have been experiencing severe delays due to limited in-person processing as a result of COVID. IRCC also failed to adequately equip their workforce to work from home. So everything has been taking longer than expected. In the case of Security, see here.

It's been a while now that they have stated they are working at full capacity...
So the excuse of delay because of covid is not going to work anymore.

Working at full capacity, and in-office processing, are not the same thing. I specifically mentioned "in-office processing"

Some of the back end work needed to process a PR application cannot be done remotely, and this is where IRCC has struggled a lot when it comes to Permanent residence applications. Internally, they shifted focus to Family Class applications, and Temporary Resident applications where bulk processing was not necessary
