I guess we have the same officer for Mid of August!
I wonder, why did I had to choose mid of august to Apply
I asked IRCC call centre, my officer number is AP9409 and primary VO - Ottawa and Secondary - CIO Sydney NS
 
My suggestion,
We all should prepare mutual email and send to ministry of immigration

Please all advise on this
 
What’s ur current status and what’s the update on 16 March?

I was requested for ADR (Family information) on March 14th.I had submitted that on 16th March.

Then I got an acknowledgment email that they have received my ADR on 16th March itself and my biometrics fees was also refunded the same day.

After this I have been waiting.

Current status is everything passed except security not started.
 
Exactly 9 months at the end of the week. I have nothing positive to say about this experience. Not a thing.
The wait continues.
Tomorrow will make 9 months for me. Honestly tired of it. I don't think Covid is a reasonable explanation for the delay anymore. This is EXHAUSTING.

I think what is the most annoying is the lack of transparency.

If the CIC portal was more forthcoming about information presented to applicants, IRCC would cut the number of calls to their Call Centre, and the number of ATIP requests for GCMS notes, by half almost immediately. It would also reduce the amount of stress that applicants find themselves under to find out where their applications are in terms of processing.

Furthermore, it is mind boggling how slow IRCC has been to adapt to the pandemic and equip their workforce to adequately work from home. There's no reason that any applicant should have Criminality and Info Sharing results waiting to be reviewed for 7+ months, simply because those require an officer to physically go in to their office to manually review the data and pass those stages. That should be a matter of the utmost embarrassment for the IRCC, but I guess it is a carnival of clowns over there.

I want this to be over and done with. There are people who applied in January of this year who have passed all stages already. I'm TIRED.

This is something they should definitely look into changing. I stopped calling because each time I would be getting the same information. Nothing changed. Ordered GCMS and it didn't really provide me with anything more really. If they had all this in my cic account then I would know they aren't doing any WORK on my application without going through all that and just feeling defeated afterwards

Well they are gonna be updating the GCMS system, based on the allocation in the most recent budget. Maybe they can bring their website into the 21st Century, and hire some more Officers while they are at it :rolleyes:
