I check my ECAS, GCkey and Email 10 to 15 times daily but no response, update & AoR2 received till date. The file moved to the LVO 2 months ago. It is beyond understanding what the LVO is doing. Very frustrating and disappointing

Hello everyone i just wanted ask a couple question. My wife got her PPR last night and i wanted to know if this is the last step?( yes she got her medical test results back also bio-metrics etc) Also how long until we get the passport back? The reason i'm asking is the flight tickets are very cheap right now $400 vs $900, she getting her masters in may and would like for her to flight out end of may. Should i take a risk and buy the tickets from now or should i just sit back and wait until we get 100% confirmation that shes coming. thanks

I would say take the risk, it seems most people get the passport and cpor back within a month, often less. End may should give you plenty of time. But check the tracker if you wish more reassurance.

Of course it's your money and there is a risk.

Hey Sadaf, mine is the same and I believe that's always been like that and it's all normal. Btw I think your file should have been transferred to Ankara, since I assume you're from Iran, there is another forum named "Ankara Visa Office Applicants Check in here! :)" and that one is more useful to follow than this forum, because what matters about the processing timing is the visa office. In Ankara Visa office, the processing time is 10 months in average so we still have about three more month to wait!

Im also August applicant.
How would I know in which office my application sent?
Once the file is transferred they send the principal applicant an email to inform which visa office the file has been transferred to. If you have not received an email, you can go to a MP office and ask them to go through your file and let you know where your file is.

Usually when your file is transferred to another visa office the status changes from in process, which it would have been after AOR1, to application received. Then once the LVO has started processing your app it will again change to In process not in progress, which means the LVO has started looking at your app. That is a good thing!! Now there is more waiting though, have patience my friend, things are moving for you but don't expect to move fast. No idea how long it will take until you hear from them again.
