Do you think this could be a reason I have not received any update on my file after my Medicals and biometrics?
It’s been a month since my medical and biometrics but no update at all after that. I wonder if my case got transferred or not. PA is from Afghanistan

my ECAS just shows:
Permanent Residence

1. We received your application for permanent residence on August 29, 2019.
2. We sent you a letter on October 6, 2019. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
3. We sent you medical instructions on October 8, 2019. To avoid delays, please provide us the information requested in the letter as soon as possible. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
4. Medical results have been received.

well I'm not really sure but it might be.
In my case, it took us one month from AOR1 to Medical and biometrics request, while others mostly received those about a week after AOR1, we were so worried during that whole month. But from Medical and bio requests to transferring to VO it took us a week which was pretty fast. So I would say it's better not to compare your timeline with others cause apparently no specific expected timeline exists.
As a solution, the sponsor can go to the closest MP office and ask them to check the status of your application.

Thank you so much! Yes we received biometrics and medical requests after AOR1 within a week. But after we completed those, it’s been a month and no update and I’m so insanely worried thank you so much for your reply though!

TRV is not approved. I paid fee late, after the mail form cic, till now my spouse didnt get biometric request.

your husband took biometrics again for PR ??

Yes again. He received biometrics request on Sept 12 and Medical request on Sept 13

Hi there

I am new to this thread.
I sent my wife's file on 1 August (Outland Applicant) PA in India
File was received on 6 August
AOR on 9 October and after that nothing
I am worried because most of people got medical and biometric request already
Should I call CIC and ask for delay

I am confused because my citizenship File is in process that I applied in starting of June. Any body know if that is the reason for slow process of sponsorship.

Any kind of help is appreciated.

My file was transferred from Sydney to Mississauga VO. Should I consider that an AOR2? Never felt more stupid in my life!

I never received the AOR2. Ecas informed me that they had already started processing my PR application. Don't worry
