Hi Guys
Someone got a real problem for changing country of applicant’s origin. Please stop making changes to others timeline.
Pleased don’t make a mess.
Thanks

Im Canadian and sponsoring my American husband. We have the same timeline. We’re also at the VO in NY. We got AOR2 Nov 18th and haven’t heard a thing since. It’s difficult to find anyone who’s application has gone to NY. I have another lady I talk to on here who’s in the same boat but she’s from June. I’ve been wondering about sending for the notes too but I also know it’s delayed due to Covid so I don’t know if I should order notes or not.

Hi, I am also August 2019 applicant. Almost the same timeline.
October 2019 application moved to mississauga
Jan 2020 they sent my application to NY VO and got no update since then.
I am puzzled why it took them 3 months to decide to move our application from one office to the other. Now that covid happened, it takes longer.

We used the helpful guide on this forum to apply to receive our GCMS notes. This way, if we get to this time next month, and still have no new information, we will at least be able to get clarity on where things stand up to today. The wait is excruciating, but I married him because we’re in this for the long haul.

It’s such a frustrating process. The waiting is awful. Hopefully we’ll hear something soon with offices beginning to reopen.

What you mean by essential services ?
so spouse sponsorship is stop

This is what I read in their Site.

Due to the impacts of coronavirus disease (COVID-19), we can’t
  • process applications normally
  • provide accurate processing times
We’re prioritizing applications from

  • Canadians trying to return to Canada
  • vulnerable people
  • people who perform or support essential services
If you have an application in progress

For y’all waiting on stuff from the USA, New York is moving into phase 2 of reopening, which includes a re-start of office work. Perhaps that means the New York VAC will resume fuller service soon. I’m gonna cross my fingers.
