question: when you see an update on the CIC tracker online stating your citizenship test is scheduled and info was sent to you is that info sent via email or regular mail (physical letter)?

“Information and instructions will be sent to you.”

also, are tests being scheduled in person again? (Scarborough office - Toronto)

You guys 3 years?

Tests are online or if it's with a interviewer its on zoom. No in person tests. Only some ppl are getting in person oath.
I’m wondering if ours is in person as we were given one specific date as opposed to a date range which we could choose to complete the test online.
Those who did the test Online, did you get a date range?

Test online comes with a date range. Did you get the test email? Generally that has the details.

No email yet - I just happened to check the online tracker and saw the update made on October 27th. It says I’m scheduled for a test on November 14th and instructions will be sent. Nothing else. Will they be sent via postal mail? Email? No clue.

afaik all invites are sent by email as long as you have one on file.

It has to be an in person test if it's one specific day. Just go prepared with all the documents. Many 2018 to 2020 backlogged applicants are called for an interview and getting same day oaths/certificates. Could the the same for you as well.

Normally a test period of 21 days would be provided starting from the specified date. In your case it would be from Nov 14 to Dec 5. You should receive an email, If you have added an email address for IRCC to communicate with you (check junk mail folder). If you receive no emails by the test date, send a web form with letting IRCC know that you haven’t received the test invite email. They should get back to you pretty quickly.
I had a similar situation, I didn’t get an email till I submitted a web form 2 days before the test start date. They responded right away and sent me the invite.
My advice is to start prepping for the test by reading the “Discover Canada” book available

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...ate/publications-manuals/discover-canada.html

good luck

Did everyone who had their citizenship test and post interview where an officer checked passport stamps - did you have to have an non-English/French stamps in your travel documents translated by a certify translator to present the officer?

Hi Members, Is there any progress on the August 2019 applicants' files? For my only Background and Test is in the "Completed" stage.
