Does anyone knows a case for someone waiting for one year after the application is ready(i.e. oath ready)? Does he had to do fingerprint more than two times? I did my second fingerprint and became approved then I waited for one year without any response. Do you have to do third fingerprint because my application got stuck waiting for ceremony date for more than 1 year

I understand how you feel because I am in the same boat and our whole family application is pending due to this finger print. I know they are going to drag my application until next year and ask me for finger print again & again & again. It will be a never ending request. I do not know what else to do. I have done everything what this form and people have done. Like reaching MP, doing the web forum, contacting IRCC, requesting for the notes (which I never received) send complains, follow-up emails (nothing. They just eat the $5) but I am not spending money for lawyers because now it is a trend and they are making a lot of money through us. I just decided to renew my PR and move forward just for my mental health rather than wait for citizenship and let it happen whenever they feel like giving it to us.

In my ATIP (or whatever it's called) from my MP I got:
Security check valid
Criminality check valid
Immigration check in progress...
What is immigration check? Anyone knows? Don't IRCC have all my info already with all previous applications And so?

Very strange. I have ordered ATIP/GCMS notes several times, and I have never seen "Immigration Check" on them.

I have some time from when I was a worker before having the PR, is that maybe a check for that time? If my status was legal and normal?

So it has been almost 3 years of waiting.

A few months ago I got the IRCC passports request.

Hopefully, Oath will come soon.

But a few weeks ago I received another passport (and citizenship, actually: my mother passed down to me hers, which I did not have).

Do I have to send this new passport to them as well? I wonder....

Finally my journey reached its final destination. Please update my record.
- oath invite received on March 23rd, 2022
- Oath ceremony on April 5th 2022
- Application status updated to close on 7th April.
waiting for the certificate.
i wish everyone a good luck and hope all the 2019 applicants will become citizens very soon. please do not give up, keep knocking all possible doors.

I was just wondering, If I get asked to send my passport pages, will it be all the passports until today? of just the ones covering the eligible 5 years for citizenship?

Every document they ask is to be within the eligibility period only. The form template will mention the date range.

Even if they ask your passports for the Oath? If it is just for the elegibility period, I wonder how they check then if you are compliant with Permanent Residence Obligations, specifically the physical presence obligation (a citizenship requirement).

They are not asking for passports during oath.
And i doubt that they can really check or find what all passports you have.
Correct, they shouldnt be asking on these but they just want to trouble some candidates with huge delay just because of trips/passports. I dont think its useful in any way.
