The MPs receive hundreds of emails (I guess). Yesterday, I saw a post on FB, about a CBC reporter who is requesting to meet 2019 applicants who are residents of Alberta. Do you think that talking to the media will generate the right attention?Want to read something funny? We’ve contacted the following with ZERO progress/case updates:
- our MP, two times, both times no response
- PM of Canada, referred to the Minister of IRCC
- No response from IRCC minister
- IRCC webform inquiry, both ignored
ATIP’d 4 times, no relevant/useful updates. Anyone have any suggestions to getting a response/update successfully? This is nuts.
Congrats. After AOR in Oct. 16, 2019, got test invite on Oct. 8 2021. Did test on Oct. 13 and got an email to send scanned coloured copies of passports on Oct. 22...
After complete 2 years.. They opened my application...Thanks God
This's good. Yes, media attention will make a difference I believe. IRCC admitted that they didn't meet their target for 2019 fiscal year, but they moved on to later applications to meet later fiscal years. This is not fair to us 2019 applicants. It's how they measure performance, but this means nothing to us.The MPs receive hundreds of emails (I guess). Right normal processing and walk-in ( I waited almost 5.30 hour in line and 2 hour inside the office )Congrats. That's quick. Normal processing? And was it in-person?
So, you waited 7+ hours just to hand in the passport application? I can tolerate maybe 2 hours max, but if this is the case in most passport offices these days, I am sending mine by mail when my turn comes.Right normal processing and walk-in ( I waited almost 5.30 hour in line and 2 hour inside the office )
