Thank you for your reply.
My situation seems to be a little different. I'm a FSW inland applicant, and my background check status appears to have skipped IP1 and directly changed to the wording that most people on this forum say is IP2 (We are processing your background check).
Also a little info to share:
I called IRCC call center today to ask if I have passed R10. The agent was very friendly and looked at my file, but he said the notes made by officers are not always the same conventional notes that say" R10 passed". He said they may just move your application forward to the next step (eligibility check perhaps) without saying explicitly and clearly that R10 is passed. In the end, he said the status of my application looks good, but I have no idea what "look good' means.

I would say just to keep calm, you are progressing through the process, you seem to have passed the R10 and on to next stage... so .. waiting is hard, but its the only way.

AOR 16 Aug. Received an update today - logged in to my profile. First I noticed it has an estimated processing time of 5 months and expected mid Feb 2020 - I hope this is a little pessimistic!

New message with letter to submit biometrics. Not something I had looked in to, to be honest so was a bit of surprised to find out that we need to make another trip from Scotland to London :( within 30 days to the only Visa Application Centre. I am assuming this is normal and to be expected. Medical still not showing as passed.

That's normal yes. Get the Biometrics done and... :) good luck!
