@baltzly @long_time_waiting I sent my passport with the photos to Ottawa VO last week. And the same delivered last Thursday. Yesterday night, I received an email from Ottawa VO mentioning the photos don't match the measurements, and send new photos that match the requirements. I had the photos taken Walgreens, which they said the software does the measuring appropriately for the passport. Apparently, it looks like it didn't. I've been trying to reach out to some professional photographers in Rochester, NY. And no success with that yet, as some claim their schedule is busy. So, wondering if the photos can be taken at Walmart Photo Center, JC Penny Portraits, CVS photo with appropriate measurements this time? This is driving me nuts.

I'm based in Manitoba, and I had my photos taken at Staples. Some of my friends got this done at Costco and Shoppers and it also worked well. I'm not very familiar with the location in the US where they do this kind of photography, but I think any professional photo studio should be able to measure up to their standard. I think you can definitely try Walmart. Just make sure to show the photo requirements to the photographer.

@baltzly Thanks for shedding some light. Apparently, some of the Walgreens stores have untrained-personnel that's resulting in situations like these. or I should have been more demanding, as they always seem to stay in their comfort zone

Extremely urgent plz help...
I received an email from cic.. they asked me to provide the following documents:
proof of money noted in gift deed being readily accessible in my account, bank document or any info identifying the source of the deposits and all the bank statements from march 2019.
The thing is my father gave me two checks usd 5000 and 7000 in india. Which i gave it to my uncle in India coz we couldn’t carry such huge amount to usa. My uncle than gave me a check that was $5000, $5000 and $2000 after we returned back to the usa. We deposited that in our bank account.However, me and my husband’s earning is enough to show that we have sufficient amount. What do you guys suggest. What should i send them?? Do i need to explain all these or just having enough money is fine. Plz help.....

Hey I got a GU yesterday in my PR card application, when i called CIC about that the lady said my application is approved and is sent for printing once that is done my card will be mailed to me from Sydney NS
