Hello Everyone,

I applied PR for my wife. My application was received on Oct 2nd @ Sydney Nova Scotia. Till date I haven’t received AOR. Will it take time to get the PR File number? Did anyone got the AOR for the applications received after Oct 2nd?

The trend these days is waiting 60 to 90 days after submitting your application. You can expect any correspondence from CIC in mid December.

AOR time these days is bit more . Any where from 60 to 90 days. Mine took 70 days

1st notification is AOR1 in which you get Account #, UCI #s Both sponsor and applicant will have diff UCIs but account no. is only 1. Then you would be able to login to ECAS separately, however GCkey account only 1 person can stay active. You can register for GCkey even now, no matter where you are. Also try to login to the ecas by putting datas even be4 AOR1, I was successful in checking my own ecas be4 AOR1

Still stuck in CIC purgatory, but we have been upgraded in GCKEY from "additional info received" to "We are reviewing the additional documents you provided."

Although the silence has been annoying over the last couple of weeks, I was actually hoping we wouldn't receive his PPR before 11/24 since we can't send his passport until 12/24 at the absolute earliest (using it for travel) so maybe this will all work out perfectly.

Realistically, I'd be okay waiting another 4 months for PPR, if they would just tell us that the additional info we provided is sufficient so I can stop stressing over it.

1st try asking your rep. 2nd AOR1 takes anywhere from 70 days to 90 days these days. May wait 2-3 more weeks if nothing try calling them.

Thank you so much for your response. I have checked with my rep and he also suggested to wait. We have crossed 90 days mark. Hence I started to get little impatient.
