Pls on the country specific requirements, there is a military background form and I never participated in any military force so do I still need to fill it out and put N/A on every areas that are not applied or I just don’t need to fill itI have no clue how you immigrated to Canada as I've never heard of someone being signed for., but no I dint believe you were sponsored. As per instructions on top of the form, put NA. This assures them that you have seen the form that it does not apply to you, rather then you missing it and forgetting to fill it outPls on the country specific requirements, there is a military background form and I never participated in any military force so do I still need to fill it out and put N/A on every areas that are not applied or I just don’t need to fill it
Hi Michme,I did not get a notice at first that my files were transferred. It was not until I called the IRCC they told me.Then about a week later I received an email stating that the file was transferred.

So you came to Canada as relative or sibling of your brother? If that is that case, you were sponsored by your brother.I mean as a permanent resident there should be someone like a family who lives here that will signed to bring you here and there is a spot on the application that he need to fill out too. I came to canada as permanent resident and it’s my brother who signed on that application that he would take care of us for few weeks when we arrived
Okay thanks for that clarificationSo you came to Canada as relative or sibling of your brother? If that is that case, you were sponsored by your brother.

you might have to wait a lot longer depending on visa office to get a medical request. some people like myself waited 5 months to be asked for a medical. so I suggest patience as this is a waiting game.I am getting so frustrated with my application to sponsor my husband.
I got approved as a sponsor on Feb 28, 2019. Our second AOR came in on March 6 ( They sent it to Ankara). and We still haven't gotten any news about a medical request or a biometrics letter.
I don't have access to my GC-key because we have a representative, so I emailed our local member of parliament. They gave IRCC a call and gave me this update:
Dear XXXX,
We looked at the matter you brought to our office and we wanted to provide you updates after we called IRCC this morning:
a) Your eligibility to sponsor was approved.
b) As to the applicant, your( husband), only criminality verification is being processed
c) Eligibility and security of the applicant have not initiated yet.
d) Medical not yet requested.
I get more and more worried about how long it will take them every day.
I don't know what might be happening since we still have no medical request OR biometrics request letter.
