At last!!!! I have looked at my online ECAS today to find a message on there to say that Canadian Immigration wrote to me yesterday (Aug 15th) to invite me for an Oath ceremony on September 26th in Victoria. The letter is in the post! After thinking my file must have been left at the back of the cupboard somewhere, it seems that Victoria is now moving forward with its applications. I hope for those of us still waiting that your applications move forward also very soon. Please hold tight to your faith and retain that hope. It will come and I look forward to updating your progress as it happens.

The dates for the "letters" are taken from my ECAS update. I received email notification of the interview date on August 19. The oath date and time are on the website but with a letter sent date of August 15. I'm still looking for the oath letter but haven't checked the post for a few days. Is the oath invitation generally sent by post rather than email? I've checked my spam and trash files and there was no email received from CIC on the date listed for the oath notification.

Interesting. IRCC is weird sometimes. Give them a call if you don't hear anything till next week.

The exact same has happened to my husband and me - both Victoria applicants. An email for the interview was received after our ECAS site was updated to say that we had been invited to the Oath ceremony. That letter has not arrived. The later interview invite came via email. I note that the interview email states that if we do not pass test/interview we will not be able to attend the Oath cermony..........................! Its a bit topsy turvey!
