I am super excited that i am now a Citizen YAY ! Almost a decade to achieve. Anyways here are my updates

April 09 - Test and the interview
April 09 - Invitation to Oath ceremony ( it was handed over by the person interviewed me and asked me to come the next day )
April 10 - Oath Ceremony

Everything just happened in 2 days, can't believe this.

Wow, congratulations - you must be ecstatic! Amazing that the office turned around your final 3 stages so quickly. I can only imagine you must be elated. Great news. Spreadsheet updated.

I am receiving my permanent residence card soon. Status said Decision made and now it’s complete. ‘Your permanent residence card has been mailed’

That’s very quick .. wow. I guess I should wait till like August to renew since my PRC won’t be expired in 9 months. That’s what the agent told me it’d be a good idea to wait till around August too.

Montreal is scheduling Oath for June and July applicants now. People are reporting but spread sheet is not updated and in some cases the other way around.

Yesterday a June applicant got an invite for the oath ceremony scheduled for April 24th and his decision made was on Jan 18th.

What I have noticed is they just give 2 weeks notice.

You can try submitting a webform.

Hi Guys,
I have a question regarding new address update if anyone have similar experience. I applied by end of November as an Urgent application and they accepted, its been processing since Mid December but i didn't receive email for invitation for the test, its frustrated since its in Mississauga office. My question is Can i update my new Oshawa address which can do done faster than Mississauga or leave it as it is? i lived in North York ON. Anybody have a good experience in Oshawa? or similar experience with address change?

We did not hear back from the Montreal office since like 2 months! How long you think they still need before start to invite August applicants? Most of us are waiting for the Oath ceremony at this stage!
