I keep wondering why Acknowledgement of Receipt is not on first come first served basis. I understand if this is issued by local offices, but if it is not and it is issued at the central office in Nova Scotia, people whose applications were received in the first week of August should not still be waiting. September Applicants have started getting AOR.

Ridiculous these idiots returned my application because i didnt give enough proof for physically presence prior PR but i cleared given my visitor visa and its extension, work permit and PR all papers and its stamps....100 days totally waste, they don't even send email or any request.

Danielari2016 , my row probably 58

i submitted my citizenship application on 26th july, 2017 after completion of four years residence. Still under process. Is this normal?

filing an application with just 3 days extra is not a good idea, even though logically it is okay. why wouldn't you wait a month longer so your application is not at risk?

Buddy , did you read my message clearly?
its not about 3 days or month....many peoples received with 1095 days exactly. Its about the proof for the physical presence days prior PR.

Visitor visa does not count .
My wife got his application returned. I thought it was because she counted the periods of waiting visitor permit extension. Never though visitor visa does not count. Are u sure? have any references?
Thank you.

Visitor status does count but i think you need to check the date from when they approved (the exact approved dates) while waiting. I am not sure about how inlanders receive approvals on visitor visas but visitor visa status is considered for physical presence.

You may be able to use some of your time spent in Canada as a temporary resident or protected person towards your physical presence calculation.
Temporary resident status includes lawful authorization to enter or remain in Canada as a:
  • visitor,
  • student,
  • worker or,
  • temporary resident permit holder

Hey, I'm line 87 in the spreadsheet. Just received my AOR yesterday, November 16. If you could please update my entry.
