The last paragraph, "print the name of the person on the back of the photos" seems to emphasis printing the name of the photographer rather than the applicant. If reference is being made to the applicant, I dont think they will write "print the name of the person". My thought.

yes you need to print the name of the person (applicant) on the back of at least one of the photos. if you don't it will be returned to you.

but, they already mentioned about photographer "Provide the name of the photographer or the studio..."
so it seems the last point is about applicant

I think its not mandatory, i didn't print my name or signature at back of the photo but Need to stamped the photographer, studio info with Date.

Spoke to my friends who got citizenship recently (2 of them) didn't sign or print their names on back of the photos, not necessary but Photographer's info, place and date is must...not older than 6 months.

I just checked July spreadsheet and there’s still some applications that haven’t received AOR yet. The first batch of AORs for us August apps will probably be in 2-3 weeks or so.

Don't judge the status with spreadsheet, even some of the June applicants didn't receive their AOR as per your state. Most people doesn't follow this forum or any update.My guess within 10 days August applicants may receive their AOR and who knows maybe this week. lets see...
