I was cross-checking my forms and I came across one of the questions which are confusing me.
I'm sure you guys can help me on this so thought to ask here.

Form CIT0002e
Q.9 (c) During your eligibility period did you live outside of Canada: ( in my case, its YES)

If you have checked YES, please complete and submit the Residence Outside Of Canada form (CIT 0177)with your complete Application, along with your print out of the Physical Presence Calculator.

In my case, I lived outside of Canada during my eligible period but at that time I was single and my parent is neither Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident. So, not understanding what should I have to fill in the form CIT 0177?

The purpose of my residing outside Canada was traveling and family visits only.

Please share your expertise, your guidance would be really appreciated.

yeah ... I made a mistake twice ) so they sent my application twice...
it's kind of a small little things I didn't notice and also I wasn't being careful that's all.

if you were outside for family visit or vacation, you don't need to include it in that form. you will put the travel information in the presence calculator. and the fact ur parents are not Canadian does not matter.
however if you were outside Canada for work purposes or with someone who is a federal employee (i.e military or diplomat) then you will fill that form.
