I'm on the same boat. I guess you just have to be a bit more patient. They do say it takes 12 months for completion, so the application is still within the deadline.Hi there,
quick question, i am an august applicant. They have received it august 3 and i have been in process since november 2. After that nothing, I'm so worried its taking so long. Do they send the test invite via email or snail mail?
Can you please clarify what kind of fees receipt? Is it the $630 citizenship fee?I am carrying the below documents for the citizenship exam.
What else is required?
- Passport
- PR card
- Driver's license
- CoPR
- IELTS score card
- Fees receipt

Congratulations, good to hear that you have finally made it to the end of the process. I am so sorry but I don't have experience of applying yet for a passport post citizenship, but this may help: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/canadian-passports/urgent-emergency-passport.html. Wishing you the very best of luck.Hi everyone,
Finally, the long journey has come to an end. Today I took my oath for Citizenship and also got a Citizenship certificate. Thanks, everyone for your help. On my oath letter, it said to wait 3 business days but everywhere else on the website it says 2 business days. I need the passport urgently as I have a trip planned on May 22nd. Can I apply on Wednesday next week after 2 business days?
You could apply once you see “complete” on ECAS.Hi everyone,
