Ideally when you move, you should update your address. Go and submit at VFS, they should accept it.
Eventually an officer will review and may use the conversion rate at AOR date
But Case analysts use the rate on the day the review is done (not the rate at AOR) as seen from GCMS
Did the CBSA notes help you gain any clarity or it just got you more confused? Is the delay justified? Honestly I am getting real tired of all the waiting too
CBSA notes r pretty clear
I would suggest you order them ASAP if your security is ongoing for over 2 omonths.
If u don't know whether your security has started or not, call up CIC and check with them.
Yes bro I am aware that my security is ongoing as I was told so when I emailed London Visa Office, they also told me my Eligibility is passed. My security started when I went into ip2 which was on 25th Feb, 2018. Hence, it hasn't been 2 months yet, but thanks for the info I will surely order them when I surpass 2 months. Honestly all this waiting is very annoying especially since I have crossed the 6 month mark.
Just spoke to CIC...they told everything is passed eligibility criminality security...got two ghosts this week. One was on Tuesday where ADR was updated and another today where I can expect approval would have been granted. Now just waiting for golden email to come soon.
Just got my GCMS notes. Eligibility: Met, Criminality: Passed, Security: Not Started. Last note on file was on november 15th 2018. Which means there have been no updates since then. So i called cic and the agent told me that security has still not started and when i asked if there was a potential due date she said she cant give me one and shes seen people whose AOR is before mine (mine was august 11th) still waiting like that was supposed to help my morale :/ I am so frustrated at this point. Is there aything I can do?
If you know your Visa Office, email them directly and ask them why your background check has not started yet..
The first few pages and where it is written assessments and the last few pages for case analyst notes.

Criminality : Not started
Security : Not started
Medical : Passed
Info Sharing : Complete.
Case processing agent Notes : “R75: FSW minimum requirments : Appears Met : Fund : Appears Met : R76 : Appears Met”
In the section Review type : Program Assistant appilication it mentions “ R10-OK Recommendation : Pass Criminality.
Can you please let me know if everything looks fine and is it normal that the assesstment states criminality : not started and Review says Pass Criminality. Seems contradictory.
