I ordered GCMS once in Nov 3rd 2018.
I haven't received CBSA but I believe I was not in SS. My intention when ordering was to give them a nudge.
 
Hi,

Just called CIC and the agent was nice enough to answer all my queries patiently. he said that the officers have sent notes that they should be contacted if the file processing is not completed by 19th May 2019. However, he mentioned that the file may get approved in between this period also. So, is it something to rely on or its just like "Due Date on GCMS" (not valuable!!)

what was the status of security, criminality and eligibility which you received of GCMS notes?

It is the due date o GCMS. It seems that officers receive notifications on this date. Now, it depends on the officer. some follow it, some don't give a damn. For me, I got my file approved and a ghost update on that date!

Ordering CBSA has nothing to do with CIC and their speed. Even ordering CIC notes don't have that much effect, let alone CBSA notes.
If you are not under SS, CBSA may just email you that there no file for you in their system.

Anyways, good news is that you got your ppr. Congratulations for that :)

hi, eligibility met, security & criminality not started.
 
Hi all. I need your help.
My file was approved and an email was sent on 15th February which I didn't receive. I talked to an agent last week and she said that she has directed the visa office to resend the mail. I called them again and the agent said that she has talked to the program assistant and they have rectified the situation and I can expect an email.
However when I asked her if my application is OK she said that they have improved the situation which I did not understand.
Please help.

I think they will resend the PPR email because I have a friend with a similar case and he has his COPR now. It might take a while but they should resend it. I will suggest you keep intouch with CIC through calls and web form incase you dont receive it anytime soon.
