Hi, previously for which aspect did they say was in progress which took a uturn off late ?

It was eligibility and criminality that were in progress. However security was not started; right now all three have reverted to not started..according to the cic agent.

In my GCMS notes (generated on Jan 14), i found two conflicting statements. Can somebody help me understand ?

Criminality: Not Started (Page 2)

Primary Applicant - India police certificate: Provided-NRT R10 OK Recommendation: Pass Criminality (End of GCMS notes)

Does this mean i passed criminality or it isnt started yet ? When i called the agent, he/she mentioned that my "background check is not yet started"

I am still in IP1 and application is untouched from Sep 2018

Is there any difference type of GCMS note because the one I have from GCMSNOW has nothing beside all type of documents I have, and application status. There are 127 pages pretty much of same information. I see no note from any case manager or anything like many have posted here.

Ahwryt, there are 2 possibilities for this.

1) it can be that your case was transfered from one VO (who put in ur application status as met/in progress) to another VO/CPC.

2) it can be that analyst marked your status as met, it then goes to final review by the case officer. During this phase, the client service agent would say nothing has been initiated or file is being reviewed.

Security check and criminality checks are done by a third party agency . CIC gets recommendations over a specific file from them and accordingly takes necessary decision forward.

Wait for ur CSE webworm response n gcms notes, then you will get a more clearer picture of reality.

Hi, there is no conflict here. During R10 checks, the central intake officer / analyst reviews and confirms that all required and sort out documents and information were uploaded by the applicant to CIC for processing the case forward. This officer confirms marks it met/complete.

Then background checks are initiated. It comprises of security checks and criminality checks are done by a third party agency . CIC gets recommendations over a specific file from them and accordingly takes necessary decision forward.

Then finally your file will be reviewed by a case officer who will make a final decision u and accordingly u get ur golden email.

There's only 1 type.
Page 2 is the snapshot of your status. The last 5 pages are agent's notes. These are 2 areas you should pay attention to.

It says "A11.2: Appears Met" then "Review required for funds" and then "Ready for finalize", a bit confusing because the agent didn't mention any point for review (is having too much money a problem? ). I tend to believe your eligibility is met per your signature and you're all good.
Can you post page 2 too?

All good, they are just really slow.. My AOR is August 25, 2018 ordered GCMS and as of January 30, 2019 BG check is not started yet but other than that all looks good.

Looks exactly like my 1st set gcms. Have u provided fixed deposit certificate like maturity date, maturity amount, rate of interest etc.. they need these in bank letter head. Better u get a FD certificate from bank and upload via CSE webform.
