That's unfortunate, I thought once your eligibility is passed you won't have to worry about eligibility RR down the road :(.
Ya I also got confused with the notes. The second page clearly says "Review Required" however, in the last pages case analyst says "Review Required MI3, please look into the funds, FSW/Funds requirement : Appears met"

I'm wondering if you maybe try calling or raise a CSE for clarification maybe? GCMS are supposed to answer some of your questions about your application but that seem to raise more questions.

Or maybe try asking here.

Ya I immediately raised CSE with bank statement signed and stamped. Also, in my GCMS due date was 06/12/2018 and all my updates were done 6th of every month like 6th November 2018 was the last update.

Hi all my dates are exactly the same as yours. AOR - 18th Aug; Med pass - 9th Sept; IP2 has not started

6 months elapsed on 18th Feb. I called them and they informed me that
Eligibility - completed
Background Check(Criminality and Security) - not started
Last Update in my account - 28th Sept
VO: Ottawa

What's your VO? How long should the background check take? any idea? I have never ordered any notes. Should I?

I emailed them regarding a completion date and their response was on the following lines:
Please be informed that your application is currently in queue for review by an officer. Unfortunately, we are not able to provide you with a date on which your file will be reviewed.

My VO : CPC Ottawa
We share exactly the same timeline!. My background check hasnt started till yesterday when i last called them. The agent just told me it could happen anytime, thats it.

No point in ordering notes if they confirmed that your eligibility is completed. Whatever status (Eligibility, Criminality, Security) they told me over the call is exactly the same in GCMS notes too.

Thanks, I got the same mail. But from calls/online status/GCMS, my background checks haven’t even started (both Criminality and Security). Eligibility is Met.

Not sure what additional verification means in this case then..
Does it make sense to order GCMS notes if eligibility is met and no ADR. security and criminality - not started. 6 months + 2 days.

My application is 4 days overdue, I sent mail to Ottawa and got response as below

"Good day

Please be informed that your application is currently in queue for review by an officer. Unfortunately, we are not able to provide you with a date on which your file will be reviewed.

Please be assured that you will be contacted immediately should further information be required or regarding the next steps in your file.

We thank you for your patience and for keeping your correspondence to a minimum.

Regards,
I got the same response. Is this better than getting a date in March or April?

Phew, my application crossed their so-called processing window and now a standard "BOT" message says below

GCMS would show the same information but in more detail (the Agent’s notes)

There’s a theory it could cause some
Movement so you can order it just because of that.

I think your criminality is in process if not passed already because your PCC is majorly for criminality assessment. Additional verification could mean alot of thing, like security, POF etc. I guess you just need to be patient. Your eligibility is met and that's a good thing. You can raise CSE every other week if you have passed the 6 months timeline.

Believe me I don't know which is better. I think we can only guess until we get PPR

I doubt w all my strength that they are processing 80% of the applications within their standard processing time nowadays. Completely Bullshit!!!!

It would be fairer if they update that prediction for more accurate processing time and stop w making false hope w some many applicants!:mad:

Hi Folks after a painful wait, got my PPR on 19th Feb. My lawfirm just sent the email today. AOR -Aug 1 2018. And Background check started on Nov 22 2018. Since my law firm handled the case I had no access to my application. I ordered GCMS on Jan 31 2019 at the end of my 6th month mark. Thank you for all the information and support. Wish you all success soon...
