Just spoke with an IRCC rep and he said review is required for eligibility and that security and criminality are not yet yet started.
The 6 months timeline expires on the 25th of this month, however, he says I should expect a completion by the 29th of March.
Please what does this mean exactly? Is it that new dates of completion are now given to people?Can one expect the 'Ready for Visa mail' before this time?
Anyone who has been given a new date too or in a similar scenario?

Yes I agree. That's a logical plan.
Even I was told to expect a decision by “end of March”. What could this date be?
Did you find out what the date is all about in anyway or have you seen someone in a similar situation?

I cannot get through calls and Web forms aren't helping as each time a different agent provides the information which is different from the information that last agent provides.

My AOR is August 3rd. When I spoke to the agent yesterday they said to expect to wait a little longer because my criminality has started but security has not even started yet. They said a decision cant be made on eligibility until both criminality and security is passed. An earlier agent last week said that my eligibility is just being reviewed as per normal and not under review required status. Can i assume then that my Eligibility is passed already or recommended passed as they have started criminality already? Or does eligibility have nothing to do with them starting the Background check part. I am just wondering because I am not sure why they have not even started security yet as its passed 6 months. My file moved from CIO to CPC-Edmonton a while ago I believe.

I called them and they say my file was transferred from Ottawa to Montreal office. Is there a Montreal processing office ? Also is this a good sign or bad?

Hey, Congrats on your PPR! what was the email address that sent you the PPR? was it Ottawa or local VO?
