Just had a call with a CIC agent and he told me my application is still "under review" and that he can't do anything until April 5th ?!
I honestly did not understand that... the 6 months period end in February 20th... That means CIC just extended the deadline to April?! I'm pulling my hair here already....

Try to relax , they are just saying it to keep you off the phone for a while. Nothing to worry about . Not always you end up talking to the same agent
Since you are still within the processing time, so you are not supposed to be calling them, I had a similar experience yesterday and the agent just said to wait till 6 months and gave no details about the application. I don't blame him though.
If they say six months, lets wait 6 months. Anxiety is not a factor in processing times
, it is just taking a toll on us and when applications around you start getting approved it is obvious to freak out but hold on for a little more , we are almost there Cheers!

Unfortunately yes! If you cannot reach an agent after several attempts, give a break and call after 1 hour and continue your attempts likewise.
