Hi submitted my passports yesterday....I noticed today that our face length on the photographs is slightly more say 2 to 3 mm more than the specified length and rest all specifications are fine..... Will they accept or request for new photographs and reject these? Anyone who faced a situation similar to mine?
Hi,

I received my ppr as well. The ppr email is asking for passport n 2 photographs n letter. The letter means ppr email itself right which I need to take a print out n submit it. Along with my passport n photographs.

Also should I send the passport in different envelopes for my dependents or send them in a single envelope.

Kindly advise.

Thanks,
Nishanth

Let me put it in this way:

I was in Canada from 2013-04 to 2016-04 and 2016-05 - Till date I'm in USA.

Coming back to Profile, as per Case Analyst, the 3 year period starts from 2015-08, since I submitted my profile 2018-08. In other words, in the last 3 years I've only 9 Months Canada experience.

Having said that, at the time of creating the profile (2018-02), I've more than 1 year Canada experience in last 3 years, thus, I've chosen this option. Hope, it makes sense now.

Sorry, I just saw your reply.

So there is no reason for you to loose points because you have already chosen in to being 'less than 1 year' for Canadian experience? So essentially you are not claiming points for your Canadian Experience.

The case analyst might have made an error in assessing the point allocation. At least that's what I see from reading your GCMS notes.

A more experienced senior might be able to help like @tobs ?

Tobs: you have any suggestions to this?

Hello Guys,

The frustration is at it's peak as we are almost reaching the 6 month of total processing time since submission. Since last year around the same time until today, CIC has been very slow in terms of processing. Last year my friends have received their approved applications within less than 3 months time frame whereas now we are waiting still.

My application was submitted on August 28th 2018. I live in Canada and mine was under CEC. I have included my wife as a dependent or applicant#2 and she lives in India.

Medical passed very quickly but since then there is nothing has been updated. So not sure what are they doing at this point. Called CIC and they don't have any more updates either. I don't blame the agents as they are not the visa officers. They are just doing their job.

My work permit is expiring in June (5th) 2019 and now I have to apply for a bridging open work permit which is more money to spend. If anyone under CEC facing the same situation or if you can share your situation that would be great. I can't get enough frustrated because "no news is better than bad news".

Thanks for reading.

I am in same boat as you. But i have to apply bridging work permit to keep my job. I did before my work permit expired. I got bridge work permit for one year. Aug 08 AOR. Applied for TRV as i need to visit India once. 10 more days for my 6 months completion.
I am so anxious about this.

I guess there is no well-defined process, in CIC that we could understand.
One of the guys I met in a restaurant yesterday has been waiting for 8months now. His colleague who applied in June, got PPR in November.

Thanks for your response!

I am in Toronto now along with my dependents. Shall I go to vfs office in Toronto or they have given an address in Ontario to post all the documents in the ppr email. Since I have not received any PDF in the cic account or ppr email. Shall I just print the ppr email n submit it with passport n photographs in Toronto vfs ofc or post it to the address

Regards,
Nishanth.
