Regard being had to the time passed, I think all is going fine with your application.
 
I spoke to agent today. He told me my eligibility is passed, criminality is passed and security is not yet started and he don’t know when it will begin. There is no review required on file and everything looks fine. VO is OTTAWA. My AOR is 22Aug and IP2 is 23 Nov...still waiting for golden email...experts please share if anything is to be sacred around here as far as rejection is concerned.

You answered yourself; "everything looks fine".

The "Not Started" is not a real Not Started. Look at how many people have said they'd been told that security is not started and said they had got their PPR on the same day or within days.

We're all just stressing ourselves for nothing. Lots of inconsistencies and inaccuracies which, in turn, result in less transparency.

We can't get any info because the file is outside Canada.

I vouch for this. When I called CIC on 8th Jan they told me my eligibility and criminality has passed, security not started. Then I recieved ghost update in myCIC on 9th. I called them again and was told my application was approved. I.e. security passed and everything looks good. So guys dont worry and get fooled by the security = not started status. CiC call center agent has access to specific Info. I believe they cannot see the details related to security. Hope this helps.

My AOR is August 11 and background check has not even started. You should not be worried.

I have almost the same time... just AOR 23 Aug and my criminality passed on Nov 23 too. I spoke in Jan 1st week and I was told the same that security not started yet.. VO - Ottawa as well.. Lets stay connected..

For people who want have PPR, the best way is to put pressure on agents on the phone.
After i insulted an agent yesterday my file moved to IP2 today.

I am really very serious, if it's a woman no need give her pressure just try to flirt with her (invite her for dinner or something) if it's a man give him pressure.

It really works and can help your file move further very quickly.

Try calling at 6:18 PM IST. You might be able to get in the que.
