Hehehe congratulations. Timeline?

Check if you received any receipt from them after doing biometrics. In my case, the tracking number was on the receipt.
I got a receipt. The tracking number on there looks like this: 20180925ZAPRPRTxxxxx. When i enter that on the VFS website it just says "No Data Found" Perhaps my application isn't with the Pretoria office...

This has nothing to do with where your file is at. If you're so keen on finding out your VO, you can submit an enquiry and ask. This won't really mean much.

Just to get an idea, which visa office was processing your application? I am also in US and at 50 day mark trying to guage how much I have to wait. Thanks
Hi Bandit Queen. It was Ottawa. But I don’t think it’s a good idea to estimate timelines based on how long it took for someone else. I honestly don’t think applications follow any pattern. The rest of my friends literally got their PPRs in less than 2 months whereas mine took about 3 months.

And my attorney has seen all kinds of timelines for applications in the same visa office - ranging from less then 2 months to over 6 months.

Also, 57 days is not that long into the process. Hang in there and you’ll get the good news soon!

Congratz!

Happy to hear that complex travel history doesn't make processing slower. I too have complex travel and adress history.

Don’t worry about it. So long as it is entered clearly, you’re good. Mine was literally complicated to the point of being headache-inducing even for my own self. So I can only imagine how annoying it could’ve been for any visa officer who was looking at it.

But I really do think that there are no rules. As I mentioned in my earlier post, my friend (who applied almost at the same time as I did) has still not received his PPR and he literally had just two countries in his history. And he still hasn’t received his PPR in spite of his application being very straightforward.

I am with you, on my 80th day after 2 ADR requests did not receive RPRF payment request either
Maybe they will ask for RPRF after finished our BG check. Whereas other people got RPRf request soon after they passed medical, but after that, they moved to IP1. Also, many applicants have PPR email within 50-60 days average time. i am pretty sure our case is going to take another month for sure.

Hello. My AOR date was August 14th, got the Medical approved on September 5th. Can you explain what is IP1.? Also regarding the biometric i see it is not required for Indian citizens yet. Is that right.?
Can someone answer this please.?

IP1/IP2/NA1...etc are unofficial terms made by applicants throughout all these years, to try and understand the stage at which their applications are. Based on the structure and wording of the status in the "Background check" line, they could tell if they are at IP1 stage (eligibility...etc), or IP2 (Criminality ...). These terms seem to be less and less reliable, as status updates on an applicant's account often don't seem to follow the movement of an application across stages.

Although it is indeed very likely your application is still in the first stage (commonly called IP1), there is no sure way to know when it moves forward, except if you order GCMS notes. Those however, are official notes on your specific case.

Yes, no biometrics for Indian citizens.
