I think ADR needs to change to N/A before receiving pprI think this stays in the same way. It doesn't change.

Can confirm, it's an automatic update indicating that your meds are expiredIt is not an extension.
It is basically an automatic system notification when your current medical exams have expired. If and when they decide what to do with your medicals they will let you know. Either they will ask to re-do the medical exam or extend them.

still in IP1 - background check, security check has not been started yet
as per the GCMS notes - eligibility recommend passed
July 17th 2019 - reveived a message in my cic account from Edmonton IRCC.."Your file is currently under review and requires additional verifications. As a result, the assessment period will be outside of our posted processing times."
Aug 1st 2019 - called ircc, agent told me that my file is still with the Edmonton IRCC and the lastest assessment was done on July 23rd.

Two days back I received a profile update and background check started

My application ADR says: we are reviewing the additional documents you provided and my final application status says approved. Therefore I believe ADR status doesn't change.I think ADR needs to change to N/A before receiving ppr
