Do you guys know what's the procedure to analyze all the documents? I mean, I heard there were analysts and then senior analysts which would take into consideration the first analysis done... I've heard so many things which seem like urban legend at this point...
My eligibility is "review required" due to a NOC change at the moment of AOR. The agency taking care of my application sent a letter explaining the change in the NOC at the moment we submitted all the documents (AOR August 20th) but that didn't stop them to put my eligibility status in "review". I really hope that this review is nothing more than a simple thing in which they see the NOC change, see my employment letter and proceed with it, so no additional documents required, nothing major... According to my GCMS notes, security was recomended pass already and info sharing was complete (background?). At 23 days from the 6 months deadline, what do you guys think? Are there any cases that you know, like this?

NOC change related review required is pretty standard. Just wait and hope they get back to your file soon.

I have just seen my account and today saw a change that is from the background is in progress changed to we are processing your background now? So what does that mean ...and moreover just 20 days left for the timeline! Really wprrwor

Means your criminality is passed. Congrats. Once your security check is done you'll receive your PPR.

Hello everyone,
I have just received my ready for visa mail, the mail did not mention what is the next step to do. There was even no instructions letter. Can anybody tell me what to do next? Should i take my passport and photos and go to the vfs or what? Because i know that previously they were sent by a courier

take your passport, 2 passport photos in the right 70mm by 50mm format (do a quick google search but it's usually written in the letter), the PPR letter and some cash in your local currency to your VFS and there they'll collect it from you ant transmit the documents to your local VO.

I really have no idea.. i sent an e-mail To the vfs office in egypt to ask them what to do. I dont know if they will reply..you know how things work like in egypt hopefully they reply soon..i’ll give them two or three days and if they don’t reply i’ll just print the email and go to the office and give it to them along with my passport and photos...

Don't wait for any response.
Print the letter, take your passport, 2 photos in the correct format along with some money (transmission fees) to the VFS in Egypt. it'll be sent to the local VO and you'll be given tracking info.
Waiting for response will cost you days when your passport can start getting processed asap. All the info you need is on this forum. Just search.

I really hope it's just a minor thing and that they will check and release it ASAP... is there anything we can do proactively? I mean, I'm not sure what other documents I can send to prove I was in that company for more than 3 years and that I was performing those duties on the letter... my boss signed that and it has all the contact details... telephone, email, etc...

We are reviwing eligibility and background security check is undergoing.
My file is at Ottawa
She told me that file will take longer than 6 months.
My AOR is 9 august

order GCMS notes or call CIC to ask about your application status.

Some days ago I called CIC and the agent was telling me to wait till my 6 months period is over. Today, I am not able to connect to the agents as I get a message “Due to high volume of callers, can’t connect you call”. I tried for 4 hrs.

I have already ordered gcms notes but it will take time.

I am a silent follower of this great group. I am really thankful to all who have been a source of constant inspiration in the painful wait for PPR.

I am really worried now since only 3 days are left for the 6 month mark.

AOR: 1 August
Biometrics: 31 August
Ghost update: 20 November
Status from CIC call agent since December 1st week till last week:
Eligibility-- Met; Criminality-- Passed; Security-- Not started
FSW Outland from Bangladesh
Visa Office: Ottawa

Is there any reason for which security has not started as yet? And please advise what I should do now. Really worried...

Don't mind the Call agent, they don't know for sure the actual date decision will be made on your file. truly, A lot of files are on queue and It's a cheap scare to tell you your waiting would be longer than 6 months. Don't be surprised you may get PPR any moment from now the only exception is if your eligibility is flagged "review required". I would suggest you apply for gcms notes, that will compel an officer to look into your application, It has worked for a lot of people.

Don't worry. I filled and sent it last week. What i did is typed the whole form in english. Then left a column of space under each name. Later after printing the document I wrote names in native language by pen.

I think i made a mistake..do we have to submit separate forms for every individual in the family? I submitted one filled form with my information only (included details related to my immediate family members).

Can you please shed light on how exactly did you do it?
