Hi All,

Finally!!! some update in the application, logged in CIC and say application updated . When I checked the status it showed that 'We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.'

Earlier it said something 'We will update when we start your background check'.

I guess this is IP2 !!!!!

Below is my timeline:

AOR - 10th AUgust
MEP: 30th August
ADR: 17th Oct
IP2? : 2rd November (BG changed to : We are processing your background)

Anybody with similar timelines got Ghost update ??

My aor is 17th Aug. IP2 2nd Nov. But no ghost update after 2nd nov.

I called IRCC 2 days ago. Said eligibility and security on going. Criminality passed.

As per agent at IRCC my criminality is passed, but eligibility and security is on going.

My question is, doesn't criminality and security start after eligibility is met? As my security is on going can i assume my eligibility is met?

Hi everyone, i got a mail on the 7th of November to fill schedule A form within the next 7days, i filled the form and submitted but i checked yesterday to see that the it was still showing update that was when i realised that after uploading I was meant to click on next then transmit.
now my question is yesterday was 14 days after the mail was sent and that was when i clicked transmit, will this have any effect and what do u suggest i do

Been stuck in IP1 for 60 days now, AOR - 30th August.
Others in similar situation?
And is there any one whose status on CIC shows as IP1 but the agent ha said that the eligibility, criminality, etc. is done?
Not that two cases are similar, but because I haven't been able to get through to an agent, looking for some trends..

Why is it failed?
What ur status shows when u login at this point of time

From your gcms notes you should see the reasons why it failed, then you can act appropriately

The AOR date is the same as mine..., but m still in IP1...no updates for me other than the MEP!!!

Same AOR here, not even a ping after the Biometric update

Medical passed - September 18
got an update yesterday : we are processing your background check.So how long does it take from the BG check to PPR. Also is the eligibility criteria checked after the BG or how it is .


It would be of great help if someone can please answer to my questions

No one can say precisely, the pattern is very unpredictable. some profiles are showing that since AOR. You just got to be patient
