Hi! My AOR was on the August 3 and I still haven't received any biometrics request letter. I think this is the reason why I have no 'medical passed"yet

They have updated that info now. It now states that for PR applicant it may take days and even weeks and it will be sent after the application is confirmed to be complete (not missing anything)...
Also - checking the MEP dates in myimmitracker.com it seems obvious that applications where biometrics are needed are processed at a different pace and receive MEP later than others.

Ah thank you. That clears things up. Probably MEP & biometrics request will come after R10 done.

EDIT: Per CIC's website (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/biometrics.asp)
"If you apply for permanent residence, the letter will go to your account message box if you sent us a complete application and paid the biometrics fee. You’ll get an email to let you know that you have a new message. It can be several days or even several weeks before the email is sent to you."
Indeed biometrics letter will come after R10 is done. So I'll have to wait a little longer, but when I receive it, at least I'll know I have passed a major milestone.

Yeah, i noticed too. My visa office is Manila and the analysis i did using myimmitracker's data from January till June shows the average date for MEP is 14days. The 3750 people that cic is issuing ITA's may be the reason applicants are getting MEP on the average of 20days now. Not really the summer holiday as implied earlier. My two cents.

My AOR is 19 Aug 2018. Anybody in the same line...any suggestion. I did my medicals in Max hospital lajpat nagar. We did for three members (me, my wife and my son)

We are also in the same boat. AOR 19 August and Medical done on 8 August but haven't got any updates about the medical or biometric. Me & my wife got our medical done from lajpat nagar MAX only. keeping Fingers crossed. getting really anxious now.

My aor is 15th august and got medicals done from same place..no update so far..

Have they mentioned any reason why furthurence is required?

Hi

a) Did you upload the reciept that you recieved from Lajpat nagar? If no then do that.

b) If you have uploaded the document then maybe they're asking for further meds. Which may suggest that they found something wrong. I'm sorry about that. Did the doctor indicate that there was something wrong?

Me and my wife also got our medicals done from the same hospital. AOR 20 August. Medicals where done on 10 August. We are also waiting for the medical update in our profile.
