Not sure how much you have read on this forum, but from what I understand, there are some on this forum and on the immi tracker website that get their PPR after only 2 months (these are the lucky ones) than there are those that wait much longer than the 6 months CIC claims it takes.

So all one can do is to hope to not be the unlucky ones that wait forever for their ppr.

It seems to be normal for many, unfortunately.
I am AOR 29 aug. So I was thinking of completing two months before ordering GCMS notes.

I am sorry if this has been asked elsewhere. If i received an ADR for proof of funds and submitted docs can i raise CSE if my funds increase. My only source was PF. Thank you
Could tell me why did they asked ADR for proof of funds???

I got my PPR request and i submitted my passport along with the photo's. Unfortunately, My photo specs were wrong and CIC sent me an email requesting for new set of photographs.
Its been a week i have submitted the new photo's but i didn't see any movement in my application.
I am worried as my passport is still with CIC.

Anyone has gone through similar experience or shed any light on this? How long does it take to approve the application and courier back the passport.
Congratulations for PPR email...please share your timeline

Hi,

My AOR is 16th August. IP1 since Sep 6th! when can I expect IP2?
Again, IP1 and IP2 are not the terms used by CIC. They don't work like that. A lot of FSWO people have seen their PPRs straight after the supposed 'IP 1'.

Also, have patience. It's a six month process for a reason.

Hello you all! I am an Indian living in the USA. My AOR date is 6th of August. I got my MEP passed on Aug 28th. Since then, I have not had any updates. This is driving me impatient because my roommate who applied for PR 6 days before I did, got the PR approved and passport stamped 1 month ago. Any advice will be much appreciated. Is there a whats app group I can join?

Your timeline is within normal time frame. But, if you want to know true status of your application you can order GCMS notes.

My assumption which is based on the avg processing time for usa applicants is that you may get to hear positive news in November, incase there is any delay, you still need not worry as u are still well within the avg processing timeline boundary of 6 months. You can compare and get an idea about the avg processing time on immitracker. Do put in ur details there as well, it makes the tracker more effective.

I don't know , what prompts people to ask such questions on this forum :O It seems , we have someone on this forum who could see their stars and tell them the exact day they will get their PPRs. The most perplexing aspect of such questions is that , the questioner is usually one of the most enlightened person on the PR process. I guess anxiety is the winner here and sanity of our minds is fading away :(:(
Do we have an Astrologer in the house ? If you could hear us , please tell when we will get our PPR's :p:p . We don't care , whether we are standing at one month or two month landmark, all we care is , since people near us have started getting PPR's , why not I ?? I don't want to understand that every case is unique , all I know is , everyone else file is moving fast , only my file is stuck and I am the only one left behind for a red carpet treatment at the Canadian port of entry :D:D . I don't want to realize that PPR is just the tip of the iceberg , real challenge starts once we land there (if lucky enough) and search for a livelihood. All I know is , I am living in hell and once I get PPR , my life will be sorted forever :D:D and so I am going mad with every tick of the clock :p
Well , I guess I need a break from all this :p:D after all , it is festive season in my country and I want to enjoy it as usual and wish the best of it to all my fellow dreamers.
You , my friend are fighting for a very pious cause , "Sanity of mind" . Kudos! to you.
Cheers!

Thanks you guys. The major part of my worry is I need to travel to India in December for a month, to attend a wedding. I am worried that I may get passport request while I am traveling.
