Just thought I'd provide an update:

We decided to try our luck with a visitor visa. We applied on Monday Oct 16 and asked if my wife could come visit for Christmas and New Year's. My wife just got a letter asking her to send her passport to the visa office. I believe that means she got a temp visa to visit.

Our PR application was forwarded to Warsaw and we still haven't heard anything, but at least now we can spend some time together while we wait for PR.

I submitted police check in the colour photocopy pdf format online. I scanned in colour copy and saved in pdf.
Does it say somewhere that police certificate cannot be in pdf ??

Finally received the Sch A and police check request October 17. Submitted online on October 18.

FYI police check has to be submitted as a scanned photo file and NOT as a pdf.

Hi guys. Please help. I checked my ECAS just now. From application received it changed to in process. What does it mean? Btw, i finished medical and schedule A.

In the same way, the other day, I was told that I had received a medical , and I see the police certificate and Scheda that they were received, yesterday it says in the process itself. I am the same myself?

@betterthanyoko - do you have a citation from CIC that the police check needs to be an image and not a PDF? Myself, and many others, have submitted a PDF.

Hi guys please need advise & its very urgent i got Pcc request & have to submit before 11/11/2017 but my wife applied for pcc at passport office but they said you have to add your husband name in your passport then we can give you pcc the thing is i cant get fresh passport & pcc before die date . What should I do also cic mentioned in the letter if i cant submit on tine they will reject our file plz help

AOR 2 , will be issued shortly when the visa office says file received . for some visa offices they do not send AOR 2 email . check your ecas for the line We started processing your file on date xyz . this will be aor 2

What's the difference between "We start Processing your application on 10/20/2017 and In Process in Ecas PA section? the reason I'm asking my application was In Process for weeks and now I got that message. I'm still waiting for A0R3 from VO
