**Cross-posted**

Just wanted to update everyone - my husband's COPR arrived today! I was anxious to get it as his medical expired in October 2016. They have surprisingly extended it A LOT and he has until December 8th to land!!! Really surprised us both!

So now we're just figuring out when to have him land. It would be beneficial for him to stay as long as possible to save up some money, but we've been in a long-distance relationship for 7 years! So we'll see what we decide. Glad the process is all over!

Good luck to everyone still waiting!!

The new updates are confusing.
It says under Final Decision- it says; Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

And when Click then "info" it says "We have reached a final decision on your application.
If your application is approved, we will send you instructions on what to do next.
These instructions will be sent to your account.
If your application is refused, we will send you the reason(s) for the refusal."

Does this mean a decision is actually made, or is this just the new system update and says this for everyone?

Also, how long after DM do you get their decision?

Mine just say

"Final decision Your application was approved. Check your messages below for details."

so maybe your application is not done yet..
I got DM on 2/8 and final request mail on 2/14, some people told me around a week..
my cic didn't change to approved till i sent all the document to Ottawa for landing. FYI
Good luck!

I finally landed on 3/5!
We parked car by border and walk to US&Canada border! It was fun!
It took less than 30 min to finish everything :)

What a experience I had till I became PR!

Thank you all for advice & tips, I could not be here without you amazing people!! :D
Cheers!

"info" is just as a reference to what can be the final decision, either approved or refused. It doesn't say if YOUR file was approved or not. You will get the final decision where it says "Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made."

Congrats!! Happy to see this. I've been absent from the site for a few weeks now, thought I'd check on. All the best to you!

I officially landed today! We crossed the Lewiston-Queenston bridge into the US and came right back into Canada. Had no problems at all with the process, it was very quick and everyone was friendly. It took probably about 20 minutes inside the building in total. Good luck to everyone who is still waiting, and thank you all for your support! :)
