YAY!!!! I got mine too at 11pm last night!!!!!!!! AHHHH SHOPPERS NEEDS TO OPEN ALREADY!!!!

Congrats :)

We just got our PPR email last night too! We are so excited!!!

Except I was so excited, when we got the photos taken, I immediately put them in the package without writing my name or birthday on the back of one of the copies and I am absolutely distraught. I'm terrified they are going to take a month to contact us for more photos. It is so frustrating :( It is such a small mistake, but it is probably going to cause so many issues. It is more annoying because we, like everyone getting these PPR emails, already sent photos (at least those were correctly sent).

I just don't know what to do :( I was so excited to get approved and now I am just crushed because it is going to take ages :(

Oh no! I could totally see myself doing that. This whole process is so frustrating it drives you crazy. If I were you I'd just get another set done and print the info and ship it by itself. I know its more money but better safe than sorry. Someone with more experience than me may disagree.

Good luck!

I'm really not sure what I want to do! I have a feeling that I should do that too, but I dont want to confuse them by sending two copies, I feel like that also might bother them or something...I am desperately hoping that they look past it since they technically already have a copy that I sent with the app, a pass port with a photo and my birthday, and a signature with annex A that would match all my other documents, but I think I'm being a little too optimistic...

I highly doubt it is something that would just be overlooked, its mandatory. The recent photos are what they will use to process your final copr. They need to have one with the signature on the back, its their procedure. I would do as the other posters suggested and re-do them, include a note to explain that you previously sent the photos accidentally unsigned and re-did them right away in order to prevent any delays in processing. Unless you don't mind waiting any longer than you already have...!

Exactly, it just sucks that I have to redo everything! I'll probably redo them then.

hey! i just found out about this forum, i started my outland process in august as well, and i was super amazed to see so many already have their PR! I thought it would definitely take a year. but my process does not seem that far at all! i have only 3 lines yet at ecas, no backgroundcheck yet or anything.

i just got an email that they requested a copy of my csq. in the letter with it 4 months ago, it says that they informed the immigration office, and it didnt say anywhere that I had to send it anywhere else, so i got really stressed that my application has been paused or something for these last 4 months.

any other quebec applicants who know about this?

Going by the delay in Quebec, I don't think it would have been delayed.. and if so, not by much.
Ours was just sent in to the CIC electronically and physically just 4 days ago after applying in September, yet our application has made it's way through to Background check in the meantime while still waiting for "requested document".

I don't know your timeline so I can't add much more in regards to your case.

Today we flagpolled and officially Exported/Imported my partners car. All went well. Officers at Sweetgrass (on both sides) port were awesome. Very polite. It was an easy process. In and out in about 10-15 mins. Good luck to everyone!!

Do we need to send the CSQ to CIC by mail in addition to sending by email? After reading the email request I received it seem like I only needed to email them my CSQ. Thanks for your help!

Congrats! Can I ask if your partners car was in Canada the whole time unimported? Did it have American plates for a while? (if so how long?) Has anyone ever given you hassles about the plates? Sorry for all the question, I ask because I have our car listed as a goods to follow because I need a bit to get together the import papers (and export papers for the US) and I haven't had a chance yet. I was hoping to drive up to get my SIN # next week and come back to the US before we officially move in June.

I've been in Manitoba since May with California plates and have received no hassle whatsoever, even after having got rear ended. Just make sure you let your insurance know before hand and that your registration does not expire.
