And there are still those of us waiting. I will probably be one of the last to get PPR in this group. Our VO is taking forever. Still they are working on March-May applicants.

You don't (normally). If you're still a couple in 2 years, it falls away silently.

If they repeal it as planned, and that applies to people who already have it, it'll fall away then.

It's only an issue if the r/s breaks down, it still applies, and one of you or somebody else actively reports it to CIC.

I didn't receive any correspondence yet about the decision made. I checked ECAS and there it says decision made so now we just have to wait for the official email or letter...

Hello guys. I have sent my application on august 2016 and the last update we got is that our application was sent to manila office and they requested for the receipt that i paid. I paid everything and included the printed receipt in the application package that total to $1040 CAD. after sending a photocopy of the receipt on september 2016 we never got any more update.

I am canadian citizen living in canada and my wife is in the philippines. Please help me with any kind of advice. Thank you all god bless

Hi, I am from the Philippines and same as yours, we submitted our application August 2016, we also sent proof of payment for RPRF. After that, no words from Manila Visa Office. Probably they are still working on our applications. I've heard, MVO is working on August applicants now... Probably we will be hearing from them this month. Good luck...

I did upfront medical and the status in MyCIC says Passed. Oh ok, so you're waiting for them regarding medical. Well, I've read some are waiting for CIC's instructions about medical.

good for you. In terms of sponsor approval, did you receive any email to confirm? I didnt get anything about SA and i just assumed i did get approved since application was sent to manila visa office.

Impatient August applicant here too, under Conjugal though... Just got our 2nd GCMS the other night. Still trying not to worry about our file location stating FCPNP-PNP now (previously IR) although the officer noted that our rel'p is Bona Fide, it also says that docs are limited to qualify for FCE... On the brighter side, that generated the same day they requested for an original PSA AOM, which we are assuming is the only missing document for them to be satisfied for approval. Not to mention, officer recommends "closer review"

According to some of posts of our co-applicants, there are times that they don't received anything, except for PPR that we are now waiting for. Yes ive red a lot of post abt not getting SA notification. I just called cic today and luckily was able to talk to a human. She pulled up my application and confirmed my SA. And she said that something came up thats why i didnt get any notification.

now im waiting for medical instructions so my wife can do medical exam right away. Lucky for you that you did that upfront. I was contemplating whether to do upfront or not since my friend did an upfront and ended up doing another one since it was expired before he got ppr.
